Oh, where do I even begin with this beautiful couple?! When a photographer whose work you've admired for years asks you to photograph their wedding, you absolutely take it on, and it was my honor to take Kim & Ben's photos! I have never seen a groom so excited to marry the love of his life, ever! So many sweet details were incorporated into their day, and when the wind started to pick up before the ceremony, Ben made sure everything was back in place where he knew his bride would want it to be!
The Broken P venue made a stunning backdrop for the couple to say their vows and have all their loved ones celebrate alongside them. During their ceremony, they gave the sweetest tribute to their loved ones who couldn't be there with them, releasing butterflies as the bride talked so sweetly of her mama and others who had passed. One even flew right over as they were pronounced husband and wife and I managed to capture it fluttering by as they kissed!
Before the partying began, the bride's daughters gave the most heart-felt toasts alongside the groom's brother & sister-in-law. It was so clear that they have the utmost support of those who matter most to them. I finished out my time with them, witnessing their first dance as the groom's father sang alongside his band, Country Soul. What better way is there to have your first dance than for your Pops to sing so sweetly in the background as you spin your bride round & round?!
From the flowers to the lights, and all the in-betweens, everything was fairytale perfect. I told Kim multiple times she should be an event planner, nothing was left out and their guests felt just as much love as the bride and groom did. Stacy Hopke did a fabulous job on the cupcakes and cake and I know Kim greatly appreciated all the help from other friends & family that day as well.
So many of their photos were my favorites but here is just a handful of the highlights from their special day!
