When Betty inquired with me to photograph her wedding, I could not be more excited when she mentioned it would be an early morning ceremony. I just love when couples keep things quiet and intimate, tying the knot before God among just their closest family & friends.

Before Mark arrived, I had a chance to visit with Betty for a few minutes. She spoke so sweetly of how she admired his ministry work and his faith. She was surely captivated by his enthusiasm for sharing the Gospel and helping children. In her vows she mentioned she had made quite the "list" of standards it would take for her to marry someone. Mark checked every one of those boxes and then some.

The morning couldn't have been prettier, the rain moved out and the wind was calm for once this spring. We all gathered at the historic Champ Clark Heritage House in Bowling Green for the sweetest ceremony. Local friends, this made a beautiful background if you're looking for another scenic spot for cute photos, keep it in mind.

While many of their children live all over the United States, each had one there present to witness their vows and both kids were just beaming with excitement for their respective parents.

Mark & Betty, you clearly were made for one another. I'm so glad you found each other and it was my honor to capture your special day! Check out a few of my favorites from the morning!
